Obituary for Elizabeth Lampert
Elizabeth Anne Lampert was born March 31, 1964 in Whangerei, New Zealand to Vincent Arthur Hill and Alice Sumner Hill. She was the eighth of nine children outliving Peter and survived by Kevin, Terry, Geoffrey, Francis, John, Stephen, and Brian. Elizabeth was known by many nicknames such as Junk, Bif, Lizard, Old Grandma, Mama Llama, Gamma, and commonly as Liz. Liz became a nurse at a young age being trained at Whangerei Hospital's nursing program. At 23 years of age she immigrated to the United States with her first husband Kevin O'Keeffe and together had a son, Tyler James. Later, Liz would marry the love of her life, David Arthur Lampert, who died two years prior. Together they had three daughters: Tanzi Louise, Lindsey Delphia, and Paige Elizabeth. In the United States Liz continued working as a nurse for many years at Sutter Roseville Medical Center and then at Sierra Endoscopy Center and the Nevada County Jail. She was a 4-H leader; a member of the SDA quilt guild; a member of the Goldwing Motorcycle club; and the mother who took her girls to every sporting event, practice, church activity, and outing there was. She loved the water and after spending over 25 years in California moved to Mississippi to be closer to the ocean. In Mississippi she was diagnosed with Corticobasal Degeneration and Progressive Supernuclear Palsy. In August, Liz moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico to continue being cared for by her eldest daughter who had moved there due to her husband's employment. Her brain diseases are what eventually led to her passing in Artesia, New Mexico. Liz is survived by her 6 brothers, one sister, 4 children, and 4 grandchildren: Michael Farrell Smith (age 6, son of Lindsey), Hartley Violet Page (2, daughter of Paige), Kensley Faith Page (1, daughter of Paige), and Kezia Victoria Adonis-Lampert (1, daughter of Tanzi).
All who knew Liz will remember her as one who had a great sense of humor, hardworking, a loving mother, and one who had vigor to live. Her dying wish was to know God more and wants everyone she loves dearly to search for God so that the hope she has in Jesus and His resurrection can ensure that you see her anew. She wants to see you again in the new body God will give her when He Jesus comes again.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 at Brinkman Cemetery, Greer County, Oklahoma.
