Obituary for David Leon Langford
David Leon Langford, 70, long time resident of Mangum passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 in Oklahoma City. David graduated from Mangum High School 1968 and then joined the Air Force. He was active duty for eight years before leaving the Air Force to work for J. Lee Milligan Inc. where he was a heavy motors operator for thirty plus years. David retired from J. Lee Milligan in 2009 and came back to Mangum to live. He enjoyed fishing, listening to old music, photography, gardening and collecting knives. David loved his family and loved spoiling his grandkids, nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his father, William Anderson Langford; brothers, Tom, Rodney; Sisters, Joyce, and Dorothy.
David is survived by his Mother, Mattie Lucille (Byrom) Langford of Mangum; daughter, Valerie Osborn, of Abilene, Texas; three grandkids, Dylan, Ryan, and Madison of Abilene Texas; Sister Mary Jane Kerbo, of Moore, Oklahoma; Sister-in-law, Sue Langford of Amarillo, Texas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
