Ellen grew up in Van Nuys, CA and Creswell, OR. In 1951 she moved to Colorado Springs, where she met Bill Robinson. They were married February 15, 1955. Ellen was a business owner in Colorado Springs, CO for many years. She ran a ceramic shop (Robinson’s Ceramics) with her husband and was known for her freehand artistry. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star for many years in Colorado and Oklahoma. In 2005, Ellen moved to Mangum, OK. She was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church of Mangum.
Anyone who knew Ellen knew she was never without a crochet hook. She would make pot holders, towels, and afghans on a regular basis. Almost anyone she came in contact with would receive her handiwork. She entered her afghans in the local fair and often won blue ribbons. We were all blessed by her warmth and care for others. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.
