BILLY DON WILLIAMS
Billy Don Williams, age 67, a lifelong resident of Granite, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday May 3, 2018 at his home in Granite.
Billy was born in Granite on August 23, 1950 to his parents C.L. Bill Williams and Sarah Elizabeth Ledbetter Williams. Billy was baptized at an early age on April 8, 1973 at the First Baptist Church in Granite. Billy was drafted and served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. He spent his whole life in Granite where he enjoyed hunting and fishing, listening to bluegrass and country and western music, and of course his beloved cats, especially Rainey. Billy had a ready recollection of dates, names, and events that happened in times past and he was current on the happenings with todays current events. Billy had many friends in Granite who he relied on greatly throughout his life. A special thanks to each of you for your help.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lloyd E. Williams; and many aunts and uncles. Billy is survived by numerous cousins, many who he grew up with and will miss his presence greatly. Billy is also survived by longtime family friend, Margie Roberts.
Viewing hours will be from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2018 at Greer Funeral Home in Granite.
Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Granite First Baptist Church with Pastor Kris Ramber officiating.
Interment will follow at the Granite City Cemetery in Granite under the direction of Greer Funeral Home, Granite.
