In 1949 Kitty received her LPN license, and her nursing career began at the old Mangum Hospital. She retired in 1996 from Dr. Lenaburgâ€™s office in Mangum and Granite. Kitty was a licensed Lpn until 2012. Professionally and personally her lifeâ€™s purpose was to help and serve people. Kittyâ€™s life was Christ centered. She was a devoted Christian, Mother, and Grandmother. Her hobbies included going to church and helping people any way she could. Music played a big role in her life as well. She was a faithful member and beloved by her church family at Living Water United Pentecostal Church of Mangum.
She is survived by her three daughters; Waniece Bull, Syvilla Wynn, and Frances Wynn all of Mangum, Oklahoma. Two brothers; James and wife Lea of Muleshoe, Tx, and Charles and wife Jo Of Lubbock, Tx. Three Grandchildren; Kitty Lewis of Mangum, Monty and wife Teresa Atwood of Love Lady, Texas, and Glen Lewis of Gatesville, Tx. Seven Great Grandchildren and nine Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Kitty was greeted at the gates of heaven by her parents, her loving husband; Wallace Stanley Miller, four sisters; Laverne, Irma, Marda, and Marcella, and one brother, Melvin â€œPeteâ€.
