Hilda Maizelle Moore born 4/13/31 to Harvey Hix Jones and Mable (Stockman)Jones in Erick Oklahoma she went to school in Reed Oklahoma where she graduated.
She married Thomas R Burden 4/30/49 in Wellington Texas, She married William Douglas Moore 3/16/63 and they had 2 children. She retired as operator for Bell telephone. Worked as a housewife most of her life, she loved to work in her garden and canning what she grew and whatever else she could get her hands on, she also enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. She loved joining in with her church family fellowship and looked forward to her class reunions every year to catch up with her classmates.
She was Survived by her children Harvey Baxter Moore and Celia Mae Gilley and husband Garry Gilley all of Mangum two stepsons Larry Ross Moore of Mangum and Marcus Todd Moore and wife Lori of Gainesville Florida. 9 Grandchildren Nicka Stephens and husband Damon of Mangum, Brian Moore of Mangum, Jim Higginbotham of Oklahoma City, Brandy Higginbotham of Blair Oklahoma, Jerry Glen Wilson and wife Amy of Mangum, Jeri Lynn Wilson Fyffe of Lee's Summit Missouri, Michael Moore and wife Amanda of Newberry Florida, Stephanie Tosh and husband Kevin of Sayre, Jarod Brook of Hugo Oklahoma, 23 great grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, a Niece Janet York and husband Terry of Oklahoma City, many many great friends, extended family, and loved ones.
She is Preceded in death by her parents Harvey Hix Jones and Mable Jones, Two Brothers Melvin Doyce Jones and Harvey Leverne Jones one great great grandson Gabriel Dane Moreno and many missed friends.
Funeral services are Thursday, March, 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Living Water First United Pentecostal Church, in Mangum. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at 321 W. Lincoln, Mangum.
