Obituary for Lois M. Blevins
A Memorial service has been scheduled for Lois M. Blevins, age 74, of Elmer, Oklahoma, Friday, April 18, 1997 at 10:30 am in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Blevins passed away Wednesday, April 16, 1997 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Lois was born November 19, 1922 in Freeport, Illinois, to the late Orley Otto Cox and Lula (Beal) Cox. Lois went to work for Boeing Aerospace in 1966 and retired in 1987. She lived in Houston, Texas until nine years ago when she moved to Elmer to be near her daughter.
Survivors include children Janet Blevins of Austin, Texas; Linda Briscoe of Elmer, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sarah Davis of Austin, Texas, Tammy Schmidt of Hastings, Oklahoma, Timmie Briscoe of Clinton, Oklahoma, Teddy Briscoe of Ft. Campbell, Ky., Tracy Morgan of Altus, Oklahoma, 8 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Morris, brother Jack Cox.
