Obituary for Frances Ann Halcomb
Frances Ann Halcomb, ag e 52, former Altus resident passed away Thursday, July 2nd, 1998 at Presbyterian Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born January 30th, 1946 at Altus, OK to the late Fred Leonard Clark and Dora Mae (Welch) Clark. She and Rickey Halcomb were united in marriage September 16, 1982 in Altus, Oklahoma. Frances had lived in the Altus and Jackson County areas for many years before moving to Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Frances was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: her husband, Rickey Halcomb of the home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma; eight children, Ray Duke of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Steve Duke of Detroit, Maine, Rosie Sample of Rialto, CA, Angie Whittemore of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, James Duke of Headrick, OK, Freddie Duke of Newalla, OK, Vickie Clark of Moreno Valley, CA, George Duke of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one sister, Linda England of Oklahoma; twenty-one grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ruby Clark and one brother, Alfred Clark.
