Obituary for Oleta Pauline Mitchell
Oleta "Pauline" Mitchell, age 86, entered into Heaven peacefully on Dec 14, 2017 in Baytown, TX after a long struggling battle. She was reunited finally with her beloved Roy Mitchell and daughter Glenda, as well as numerous other relatives. Pauline was born in Greer County Oklahoma to her parents Ola Jane Denton and Joseph Earl Burden.
She was the 4th sibling of 8 and is survived by her brother Dale Burden of Muleshoe, TX. Pauline married Roy Mitchell on June 4th, 1949 in Wellington, TX in the pastor"s home and they spent 57 years together before Roy"s passing in February 2007. Together they had four children. Pauline had a larger than life personality and attitude to match. She was loved by many and the memories each one has of her will be treasured forever, Pauline will be greatly missed.
Pauline is survived by her son Robert Mitchell from Shreveport, LA, son Curt Mitchell and wife Dana of Dayton, TX, and daughter Barbara Mitchell Heerwald of Grapevine, TX. Grandchildren include Randy Sipes and wife Kelly of Brookshire, TX; Johnna Sipes of Houston, TX; Kendra Odom of Aworth, GA; Jennifer Harrison of Flower Mound, TX; Elizabeth Austin of Phoenix City, AL; Melissa Weatherford and husband Reid of Portland, TX; Graham Heerwald and Wife Sara of Floresville, TX; Brian Heerwald of Grapevine, TX; James Sells of Conroe, TX; Misty Head and husband Brent of Cleveland, TX; Justin Schooley and wife Cecilia of Dayton, TX; Jessica Peterson and husband Josh of Huntington, TX; Stephanie Burnett and husband JC of Huntington, TX; Dusty Mitchell of El Reno, OK.
She is survived and loved by many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Funeral will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Greer Funeral Home Chapel.
