Obituary for Yamasse Jefferies
Yamasse Nicole Jefferies was born April 4, 1978 at Walson Army Hospital, Fort Dix, New Jersey, to Linda and Gary Jefferies. She is survived by her parents, James and Linda Hawkins-Obleton of Accokeek, Maryland.
God chose June 19, 2002 to pluck this beautiful miracle flower from our midst. Just as she lived her life, she simply and quietly closed her eyes for the last time, and peacefully stepped into everlasting glory. Though her presence and precocious smile will be greatly missed, her life was filled with love and special moments. For man promised her to us for only a short time, we gived thanks to almighty God for 24 precious years.
Yamasse leaves to cherish her fond memory, grandparents, Joe and Louise Hawkins Henderson and Paul Easterling of Altus, Oklahoma and Lucy Thomas of Miami, Florida; three brothers, James Obleton IV, Accokeek, Maryland, Gary Jefferies, Jr., Albany, GA and Barrett Jeffries, Trenton, NJ; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
