Obituary for William R. Kent
Mr. W. R. Kent, age 91, was born in Rhode Island on February 28th, 1876 and passed away at Jackson County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 7, 1967. He has been a long time resident of Olustee, having lived there for approximately 60 years. Preceding him in death was his wife, Nettie and a son, Bill Kent, Jr., both passing away in 1962.

He is survived by: three grandsons, Jack Kent of Midland, TX, Gene Kent of Ft. Campbell, KY and Terry Kent of Inglewood, CA; one great-grandson.

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 9, 1967 at the First Methodist Church at Olustee. The Reverend Howard Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in the Olustee Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
