Obituary for William Perkins Kincannon
William Perkins Kincannon of Olustee died Sunday and Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at the Olustee First Baptist Church with Reverend Delbert Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Mr. Kincannon, a retired farmer-rancher, was born October 10th, 1876 at Stevenville, Texas. He married Sarah Minnie Matthews March 30, 1904 in old Greer County.
His son, D. C. Kincannon of Altus died on January 25th and another son, Guy, died in 1959.
Survivors include: two other sons, Ray Kincannon of Imperial, Texas and Leon Kincannon of Altus; one daughter, Mrs. M.J. Stone of Altus; five brothers, Mitch of Altus, Dave of Quail, Texas, Bob of Olustee, Bell and J.W., both of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Mamie Walters of Oregon; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
