Obituary for William Leon Threadgill
William Leon Threadgill , age 50, of Olustee, Oklahoma, was born June 17th, 1945, in Houston, Texas, the son of the late Lubin Leon and Lottie Mae (Waits) Threadgill. Mr. Threadgill passed away January 22nd, 1996, at his home in Olustee after a brief illness.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 1996, in the Olustee Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

He came to Olustee in 1984 from Houston, TX. Leon worked for many years as a Small Engine Repairman, and was an avid fisherman, he was also a member of the Olustee Volunteer Fire Dept. He was a Baptist.

Memorial funds have been set up at the Red River Credit Union and the First National Bank for funeral expenses in Mr. Threadgill's memory.

Survivors include: two children, Lottie Michelle Sainsbury and Melissa Kay White, both of Yakima, WA; two brothers, Thomas Threadgill of Waller, TX and Kenneth Threadgill of Altus, OK; five sisters, Dorothy McDonald and Alice Myers, both of Colmesneil, TX, Eller (Bitsy) Fritsche of Channelview, TX, Sharron Suskie of Olustee, Oklahoma and Shirley Moore of Elmer, OK; four grandchildren, Ashley, Tanner, Stephan and Jordan, all of Yakima, WA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents.
