Obituary for Wanda Jean Hendricks - Ferguson
Wanda Jean Hendricks Ferguson, 66, former resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away on September 10, 2020 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born on July 29, 1954 to William and Vernita (Simpson) Hendricks. As a young lady she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal survivor at Mount Zion Church, in Mangum, Oklahoma. Wanda married the love of her life, Denver "Buck" Ferguson later in life and enjoyed the last several years of her life with him. She enjoyed fishing, laughing, and listening to Blues and Gospel music but the thing she enjoyed the most was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Wanda always had a smile on her face that could light up a room.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; Daughter, Connie Hendricks; Brothers, Willie Hendricks and Johnnie Ray Hendricks.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Denver "Buck" Ferguson; Son, William Hendricks; Daughters, Roshell Hendricks, and Shannon Hendricks; Brother, Robert Hendricks; Sisters, Bertha Spencer, and Johnetta Lane-Williams; Grandchildren, Zalen Hendricks, Keyon Hendricks, Nicolas Hendricks, Sharieal Hendricks, and Aaliyah Hendricks; Great Grandchildren, Zashaw Hendricks, Zaniyah Hendricks, and Malcom Hendricks; As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins whom loved her and she loved dearly.
A come and go visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma, interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma.
