Viva Roeder 90, passed away July 5, 2000, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born December 5, 1909. She was the daughter of the late John and Eliza Isabel (Laws) Rodenhouse. She married Harry Ernest Roeder on March 2 1929,, in Altus, and he preceded her in death.

She was a Sunday School Teacher at the Altus First Baptist Church for many years.


Sh is survived by her daughter, Lola Crittenden; her son-in-law, James Crittenden, of California; her sister, Jonnie Byrd, of Missouri; her brother-in-law, John Roeder of Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., at Lowell Tims Chapel with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Interment will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
