Obituary for Viola Mae Wolf
Viola (Lamb) Wolf, age 82, a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma and formerly of Putnam, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.
Viola was born on May 11, 1928 in Tipton, Oklahoma to Allen and Nora (Shelton) Lamb. She graduated high school in Camargo, Oklahoma. Viola was a member of the First Christian Church of Putnam, Oklahoma and also attended Life Church and Henderson Hills Church in Edmond. Viola enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Senior Citizens in Edmond and taking care of Ed, her husband of almost sixty years. Viola loved her family and all of her friends and she will be missed very much.
Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Marcus, Jude, and Bill Lamb; two twin granddaughters, Lori and Lisa Morris; Viola is survived by her husband, Ed Wolf; one son, Edward A. Wolf of Edmond; one daughter, Vicki Morris and her husband Daniel of Haslet, Texas; two brothers, Edgar Lamb and his wife Patricia of Farmington, New Mexico; Waverly Lamb and his wife Nancy also of Farmington, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Shanna Blalock and her husband Jeff of Bridgeport, Texas. Viola is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services for Viola Wolf will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the First Christian Church in Putnam, Oklahoma with Pastor David Beck officiating. Interment will follow at Parkersburg Cemetery in Clinton, Oklahoma.
The family of Viola Wolf will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the First Christian Church in Putnam, Oklahoma.
