Obituary for Vernon Tennant
Vernon O. Tennant was born January 23rd, 1913 at Grant County, Oklahoma. He died March 21, 1990 at Rapid City, South Dakota.

He attended the Enid School System, then farmed in Grant County where he was a Custom Wheat Harvester. He married Joyce Yvonna Adams on February 12, 1958 in Clinton, OK. He moved to Pierre, SD in 1958 where he was foreman of a large wheat and ranch operation. He moved to Rapid City in 1964 where he was employed as an Appraiser for the South Dakota Highway Department. He was employed from 1964-1979 when he retired.

Survivors include: one son, Gary Tennant of Colorado; one sister, Betty Lue Tennant of Oxford, Kansas.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3 P. M. Tuesday, March 27, 1990 at the Restlawn Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
