Obituary for Velma Isabell Rogers
Mrs. Velma I. Rogers, age 63, lifetime resident of Kiowa County, died at her residence Friday following a long illness.

Funeral services have been set for 1:30 P.M., Monday at the Cooperton Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Bill Gentry. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born September 12th, 1909 at Cooperton, she was married in Vernon, TX, in 1935 to Delmer "Red" Rogers, who survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: one son, Jack Rutledge of Roosevelt; three daughters, Mrs. Reba Watkins of Guthrie, Mrs. Joyce Boyd of Binger, and Mrs. Marieta Raasch of Cement; two sisters, Mrs. Nadine Rickey of Roosevelt and Mrs. Myrtle Parrick of Holdenville; 11 grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at Lowell Memorial Chapel in Roosevelt.
