Obituary for Una Ledbetter
Una Ledbetter was born April 14th, 1913 at Bryan County, OK. She died February 19th, 1992 at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. She married G. D. Ledbetter in 1929 at Prairie Hill, OK and he preceded her in death November 4, 1987. She was a long time resident of Jackson County and Altus. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church where she had also
worked for many years.
Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday February 22, 1992 at the Grace United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Don Johnson with the interment following in the Altus City Cemetery. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include: a son, Jackie Ledbetter and his wife Peggy Jo of Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers, R. L. Peek of Sacramento, CA and Clarence Thomas Peek of Dallas, TX; five sisters,
Ella Mae Ledbetter of Olustee, OK, Annie Lola Withrow of Ardmore, OK, Clara Bell Scalf of Altus, OK, Ola Mae Piper of Westplain, MO and Velma Lee Dollins of Altus, OK; three grandchildren, Gary Ledbetter, Peggy Diane Smith and Michael Joe Brake; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, G. D. Ledbetter, November 4, 1987.
