Obituary for Ueal S. Edwards
Funeral Services for Ueal S. Edwards, age 76, of Altus, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 1992, at the Thomas Street Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Jim Brown will officiate.

Mr. Edwards departed this life June 18, 1992 here in Altus, Oklahoma. He was born October 9th, 1915 in Roberta, OK to John D. and Virginia Belle Edwards, he came to Jackson County at the age of one year, and settled in the Ozark community. He was a farmer and worked for the Soil Conservation Service for 23 years. He was also a part time rural mail carrier. Mr. Edwards married Ola Lethgo in 1935 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was a charter member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include: his wife, Ola Edwards of the home in Altus; three children, Renita Haines and husband Paul and Lonnie Dale Edwards and wife Nita, both of Duncanville, TX and Lynn Edwards and wife Shirley of Duncan, OK; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers; two sisters.
