Obituary for Twyla Maria Duke
Twyla Maria Duke, 37 of Olustee, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, after a short illness.

Maria, as she was known to family and friends, was born July 21, 1974, in Oklahoma City to Doyle And Twyla (McVey) Sharp. She married Delbert Ray Duke, Jr. February 29, 2008, in Olustee.

Maria graduated from Harrah High School in 1993 and attended Platt College in Oklahoma City where she earned her Associate's Degree in Computer Technology. She served four years in the National Guard, and for the past five years worked at Bar-S in Altus. Maria was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Harrah most of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ray Duke, of the home in Olustee; four step-children, Misty Ford of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Micheal Duke and wife D.J., Donald Duke and fianc"e Kathy Graverholt, and Diana Duke and fianc" Brett Benivamondez, all of Altus; one brother, Virgil Sharp of Midwest City; step-grandchildren, Gary, Chelsea, Adriana, Abigail, Micheal, Jr., Krista, Lilly, Bailey, Jade, Donald, Jr., Anna, and R.J.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.


The family will hold a Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the home of Maria's step-daughter, Diana Duke, 812 N. Willard, Altus, Oklahoma, with Chaplain Mike Suiter officiating.
