Trena Elizabeth Starkey age 73 of Altus, Oklahoma died January 13, 1969 at her home. She was born June 8, 1895 in Harrison, Arkansas to I.J. and Emma (Rowland) Starkey. She had lived in Jackson since 1906, was a member of the Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Trena Elizabeth Starkey are scheduled for 2:00pm January 14, 1969 in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Jess Marlin. Burial will follow in Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Trena Elizabeth is survived by one brother Burton Starkey of the home, two sisters, Miss Hettie Starkey, of the home; Mrs. F. H. McElhose, Altus, Oklahoma; two nephews.
