Mr. Tommy J. Alexander, 1045 Elk, Altus, died on July 6th, 1977 at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital.
Born May 23rd, 1923 in Dangerfield, Texas, he was married to the former Lillian Wingfield on September 24, 1953 in Altus. He worked at Firth & Higgs as a mechanic and he was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Church of God In Christ, with Elder M. R. Tubbs officiating and assisted by Elder Taylor. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his wife, Lillian, of the home; two sons, Tommie Jean of the home and Stevie, also of the home; four grandsons, Tommy Jr., Curtis Lee, George Person and Charles Alexander, all of Dallas, TX; three brothers, L.J., Isaac and Bennie Alexander, all of Altus; four sisters, Ruby Lee Watts of California, Ida Morrell Smith of San Antonio, TX, Era Mae Block of Altus and La Venca Hill of Dallas, TX.
