When you talked with Tommie it didn't take long for him to direct the conversation to Southern Gospel Music. It was his life long passion. He knew the artists of every well known group and had a record or tape, or probably both, of every song they recorded. He made a hobby of reproducing entire concerts on cassett tapes and sending tem to people around the states who had heard about his vast collection.
He was residing in the Rockwell TX Nursing Center at the time of his departure. The family would like to thank the faculity of the center for their Understanding, Love and Care for him.
