Obituary for Tillman J. Roberts
Tillman J. Roberts, age 55, died Thursday after a short illness. Services for the Altus resident will be at 2:30 P.M., Monday at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Altus with the Reverend Bill Davis officiating. Burial will be at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born July 26th, 1913, Roberts married Mary Ellen Chapman at Altus in 1941. He was an automobile dealer.

Survivors include: his wife of the home; one son, Bobby Gene Roberts of Altus; one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Doughty of Oklahoma City; four brothers, Clay Roberts of Altus, Mr. Bob Roberts, Julius Roberts and Thomas Roberts, all of Silom Springs, AR; four sisters, Mrs. Frankie Simpson and Mrs. Bessie James and Mrs. Ada McGee, all of Altus and Mrs. Betty Chapman of Los Angeles, CA.
