Thomas N. Flores Jr. passed away on Sunday, October 7th, 1990 at the Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born September 17th, 1922 in Menard, TX. He was married to Mercedes (Mercy) Castorena in 1944 in Menard, TX. They lived in Bailey County for 10 years before moving to Jackson County, Altus, OK in 1966. Mr. Flores was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was an Army Veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by: his Mother, in 1930; one sister, Carolina Coronado in 1984; a daughter, Susie Flores in 1950; a granddaughter, Cynthia Ann in 1967.
Survivors include: his wife, Mercy Flores; three daughters, Ofelia Martinez of Lubbock, TX, Belia Canales of Altus, OK and Hellen Figueroa of San Antonio, TX; a son, Louis Flores of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Rudy Gonzales of Menard, TX; three sisters, Celia Martinez and Esther Lopez of Houston, TX, and Mrs. Martin Fabela of Muleshoe, TX; his Father, Thomas Flores, Sr. of Menard, TX; six grandsons; four granddaughters; five great-grandsons; two great-grandddaughters.
