Thomas C. Shelton age 58 of Blair, Oklahoma died May 15, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.
Thomas was born July 17, 1908 in Gould, Oklahoma to R. R. and Maude (Gillian) Shelton. He married Stella Irwin November 19, 1938 in Mangum, Oklahoma. Thomas moved to Blair, Oklahoma in 1935 and operated Carls Cleaners. He was Music Director of the Baptist Church of Blair for over 30 years.
Services for Thomas Shelton are scheduled for Monday, May 18, 1967 at 2 pm in the Baptist Church, Blair, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie and J. C. Crabbe. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Thomas C. Shelton is survived by his wife, Stella of the home; two sons, Dale Shelton, Blair, Oklahoma; Erick Shelton, student at Southwestern, two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Juanita Mattox, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
