Obituary for Tera Nicole Allen
Our world has lost a beloved mother, daughter, sister,TeeTee, niece, cousin and friend. Tera Nicole Allen, age 40, passed away on December 4, 2020 in the Dominican Republic. She was born to Frederick Philip Callins and Earnesten Lanette Chase in Mangum, Oklahoma on June 11, 1980. Tera graduated from North Pulaski High School in 1998 and went on to continue her education at Platt College to pursue her career in Nursing. Tera then graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Family Studies in Gerontology and went on to pursue her BSN in Anesthesiology.

Tera dedicated her life in service to others firstly by joining the United States Navy and then entering the civilian world as a registered nurse for more than 15 years. Her most recent stints took her to New York City, New York, McAllen, Texas and Glendale, Arizona as a COVID traveling nurse. The best way to describe Tera, would be as a Servant, she lived to serve those in her community and those who needed her in the medical field. Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc. also played a huge part in Tera’s life.

Tera was a proud member of the Northeast Missionary Baptist Church and her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Tera was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Elizabeth Lane; Great-grandmother, Earnesten Ray Sanders, Great-grandmother, Ida Butler, Grandmother, Lillie B Callins; Grandfather, Samuel Callins Sr.; Great-grandmother, Willie Mae Doyle; Uncles, William Stanley Lane and Randy Davis.
Left to honor her memory are her parents, Gary and Lanette Chase, and Frederick Philip Callins; from her union with William Patrick Allen, she is survived by her two sons, Taj and Jalen Allen who made up the entirety of her world; sisters Candis Myers, Tiffney Denise Sackey, Toshia Hardman and Jericca Chase and sister-cousin Brittney Lane; uncles Terry Lane, William V. Lane Jr., Timothy Lane, Samuel Callins; aunts Tammey Lane, Tracey Jones, Tangela Carter, Kelly King, Jadera Callins; nephews Michael Hardman Jr., Andrew Myers; nieces, Aaliyah Chase, Ta’Niyah Ayan Hardman, Kailani Myers, Mireya Myers and niece-cousin Londyn Lane; and a host of cousins, extended family and beautiful cherished friends.
