Obituary for Ted Cleo Bush
Funeral Services for Ted Cleo Bush, age 77, lifelong resident of Jackson County, are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Saturday, November 7th, 1998 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will follow at the Victory Cemetery. Bill Osborne will officiate.
Mr. Bush passed away November 4th, 1998 at his home. Mr. Bush was born December 5th, 1920, west of Altus to John J. and Annie Mae (Weaver) Bush.
Mr. Bush was a graduate of Victory High School. He married Emogene Brogdon in Hollis on May 16, 1945. Mr. Bush was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corp.
Mr. Bush helped construct the original Lodge at Lake Altus, and was the Foreman on the Altus High School Cafeteria and Library. He was a custom harvester for 42 years and farmed west of Altus. His hobbies included rock collecting, carpentry and exploring for oil. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Bush and Talmage Bush; two sisters, Laneta Burleson and Maude Bush.
Survivors include: two children, David Bush of Altus, Oklahoma and Karen Suzanne Bush of Noble, OK; three brothers, Harold Bush of Calera, OK, Calvin Bush of Corpus Christi, TX and Jim Bush of Altus, OK; three sisters, Trudy Bush of Altus, OK, Beaulah Gear of Norman, OK and Hazel Jepsen of Olustee, OK; two grandsons, Brian David Bush and Brandon Keith Bush.
