Sylvia Kay Eichholz
Sylvia Kay (Lane) Eichholz, 76 passed away Dec. 2 at home. Sylvia was born March 27th 1941 in Altus, Oklahoma, the daughter of Herbert and Minnie Lane. She graduated from Blair High School. Sylvia lived most of her life in Oklahoma.
She worked at the Friendship Inn Hotel and Apartments for 28 years; most of that time was spent as the manager. Sylvia was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who will be most remembered for her selfless love and caring of others. She had a true nurturing spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Anna Lou Deal, a brother Delano Lane and her son, Gavin Wicker.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of 40 years, Loyd Eichholz, her daughter, Cheryl Simco and husband Scot, Grandchildren, Connor and Evan Simco, and Misty Williams, Two great grandchildren Hunter and Hope Williams. Three step children Dana Childress and husband Don, Cynthia Mollison and husband Richard, and Craig Eichholz and wife Debbie, two sisters Betty Jo Swann and Wanda Watson, niece Betty Lou Smith and nephew Donnie Swann. Her family was the focal point of her life and her grandkids gave her the greatest joy. She will forever be in our hearts and her kind spirit will always be remembered.
Family visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
