Obituary for Sue Willey
Delores Sue "Susie" Green Willey, 78 of Altus, Oklahoma and formerly of Fairfield, California, passed away February 14, 2020 at the Magnolia Creek Care Center in Altus, OK.

Susie was born 02 Sep 1941 to Paul and Edith Jones Green in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia. She resided in Ashland, Boyd County, Kentucky for most of her childhood and attended Boyd County Public Schools. Soon after high school she went to California and met a young airman, Richard Scott Willey in Fairfield, California. They were married on 06 May 1961 at Chapel #1 Travis Airforce Base and they enjoyed over 45 years of marriage before Rick's death in 2006. This union was blessed with two children; Richard Alan Willey & Catherine Ann Willey-Bentley. The family resided in Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota for 8 years and Fairfield, California for 37 years. After the death of Rick, Sue moved to Altus, OK where she lived in close proximity to her two children. Her number one hobby for the past 30 plus years has been genealogy where she compiled the Willey-Green Family Tree. She was an avid reader and other hobbies included cross stitch and other crafting projects. Prior to Rick's death, they spent many years boating, winters on the beach in Baha, Mexico and traveling in Canada, Europe and every State in the USA. Her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren were prominent in her life. The most important part of her life was family and she treasured any time spent with her grandchildren and she will be missed very much.

Preceding Sue in death are her husband Richard Scott Willey; parents; George William
Paul and Edith Ophelia (Jones) Green; two brothers, Thomas Martin and Paul David Green; and one sister, Nancy Alice Greene.

She leaves behind two children; Richard Alan (Amy) Willey and Catherine Ann Willey-Bentley, both of Altus, OK; two grandsons; Richard Frank Willey of Suisun, CA and Terrence William Bentley III of Altus, OK; four granddaughters; Gabrielle Nicole Willey of Suisun, CA, and Victoria Leann Willey, Taylor Sue Lynn Bentley and Izabelle
Jenae Willey of Altus, OK; one brother, William L. "Bill" Green, Davis, CA; one niece and two nephews; and many close and loving cousins and friends.
