Obituary for Smith M. James
Mr. Smith M. James, age 78, long time resident of Altus, died Friday following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services have been set for 11:00 A.M., Saturday morning, at the First Presbyterian Church, officiated by the Reverend Dean Robinson. Burial will be in Altus Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Survivors include: two sons, Henry of Los Angeles, CA and William C. of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Joy Sherwood of Oklahoma City and Miss Evelyn James of Enid; a brother, Mr. William James of Rush Springs, OK; a sister, Mrs. Lula Shumacher of Los Angeles; six grandchildren.
