Obituary for Sheryl Denise Burns
Sheryl Denise Burns, 52, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 in the Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She was born December 21, 1969 and grew up in Altus later moving to Lawton, Oklahoma in 2021. She also spent several in years in Chickasha, OK and made many friends there.

Sheryl was a sweet, kind individual with a loving child's heart. She was very caring and very shy. One of her favorite people was John Cena. She loved everything about him and thought he was very cool.

Sheryl worked in the fast-food industry and took great pride in serving her customers. She had many favorites and in return was well thought of herself.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ann Hayes; her grandparents, Clyde Walter Hayes and Ruby Ruth Hayes.

Sheryl leaves behind to mourn her passing, her partner, James King; four daughters, Sheila Burns, Sandra Burns, Shellie Burns, and Samantha Burns; two grandchildren, Blake and Ezekiel; an aunt, Julie Molina Wells; and many cousins and other relatives and friends.

There will be a visitation from 5pm until 8pm Thursday, January 20th at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. The Funeral has been scheduled for 10am Friday at Lowell-Tims Chapel with interment to follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
