Obituary for Shawna Lea Allen
Shawna Lee Allen, 32, resident of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away July 6, 2020, while working in Ada, Oklahoma. On July 27, 1987, Lance and Dixie Mitchell welcomed their daughter Shawna Lee Mitchell to this world in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Shawna was raised in Buffalo, Oklahoma, and graduated from Buffalo High School in 2006. In 2014, she met Richard Allen and they soon fell in love and married on August 2, 2018. Shawna attended High Plains, Woodward, Oklahoma, where she received her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree in 2017. In 2019 Shawna turned her love for making clothes for her daughters into a business, "Little Boo's Boutique," where she made many friends. A few months ago, Shawna began working as a correctional nurse pursuing her RN license and nursing degree. She enjoyed listening to music, fishing, RVing, and anything she could do with her kids and her husband. Shawna was an exceptional wife and mother and cared deeply for her family and friends. She was at her core a caregiver; she was always the first to offer help and always doing for others. Shawna had a heart of gold and an infectious smile that will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Lance Mitchell, Aunt Dianna Hufford, maternal grandmother, Edna McElhaney, Paternal Grandmother, Francis Mitchell, Maternal grandfather, R.V. Stanfill, Sisters, Heather Mitchell, Natasha Elsey, brother, Jimmy Lee Mitchell.

Shawna is survived by her husband Richard Allen of the home, Son, Jaidyn Chester of the home, Daughters, Enzlea Allen, Addalynn Allen both of the home; Mother, Dixie and husband Wade Carter of Grove, Oklahoma; Stepmother, Susan Mitchell; Sister, Kayla and Stephen Hendricks of Fairview, Oklahoma; Brother, Robert and wife Tiffany Lockwood of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Step-daughter Sarah Allen, Step-son, Richard Brandon Allen, II, Mother-in-law, Genevieve Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services are will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Restlawn Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma.

Services have been entrusted to Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
