Sharon Evelyn Moore, age 83, passed away on November 17, 2021.
Sharon was born on August 13th, 1938 to her parents Ira Payne and Jodie (Pate) Payne in Altus, OK. She grew up in Duke, OK and graduated from high school there and also spent time in the Altus and Mangum areas. Sharon worked as a bank teller and was a member of the Methodist Church in Duke and Southside Baptist Church.
Sharon was a kind to a fault. She would help anyone in need. She was deeply devoted to and concerned about the welfare, feelings and physical state of others around her. Sharon was uniquely genuine in her care for people and a real giver at heart. Although she took her passion for helping others seriously, Sharon also had a fun side. She had a cheerful, outgoing personality that drew people to her and she well-known for her sharp sense of fashion. She loved to dress and dress well! The happiness and love she brought to her loved ones and community will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Jodie Payne; her husband, Roe Moore; and one brother, Buck Payne.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her son: Mark Breeding; her grand-daughter, Karson Breeding; a favorite pet, Zoey the dog, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at As City Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma.
