Sallie bell Harkins was born January 14, 1889 at Alto, Texas. She died March 27, 1991 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late R.E. and Emma EuDora Richardson. She moved to McQueen, Oklahoma as a young girl in 1901.

She married Charlie B. Harkins June 5, 1910 in Gould, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 1944. She moved to Eldorado in 1925 where she remained the rest of her life. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church. She had been a member since 1927and had served a Secretary of her Sunday School Class for many years and served as church custodian.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday March 30, 1991 at Eldorado, First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev.Ken Coleman and Rev. Ron Roskam.

Mrs Harkins is survived by her children, Dora Weddle and OE Weddle of Eldorado, Oklahoma; Elna Stobbs of Eldorado, Oklahoma; one daughter in-law Hudean Harkins, Eldorado, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband C.B. Harkins 1944, ten brothers and sisters, one daughter Eura Wesley 1979 two sons, Charles E. 1918 and CB Harkins Jr. 1976.
