Roy Oren Harrison age 65 of Altus, Oklahoma died April 2, 1969 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was born February 24, 1904 in Delrose, Tennessee to George and Lula (Strane) Harrison. The family moved to Jackson County when Roy was 2 years old. He retired as a custodian for the Altus Public School System. He married Lora Myneta Foster December 3, 1939.
Funeral services for Roy Oren Harrison are scheduled for April 4, 1969 at 3:00pm at the First Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. David Matthews. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Roy Oren Harrison is survived by his wife, Lora of the home in Altus; two daughters, Mrs. John Ferrell, Laredo, Texas; Mrs. George Marlin, Lamargue, Texas; three grand children, two sisters, Mrs. Walter McElroy, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Max Moore, Carthrage, Mo. three brothers, Lex Harrison, Altus, Oklahoma; Tebe Harrison, Santa Monica, California; Lawson, Purcell, Oklahoma.
