Obituary for Roy Lee Rumbo
Roy Lee Rumbo, age 53, passed away early Thursday, May 8th, 1986, morning in Paducah, TX, after a long illness. Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Eldorado First United Methodist Church, with The Reverend Elbert Shumaker officiating. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Mr. Rumbo was born in Kaufman County, Texas on January 5, 1933 and moved to the Eldorado area with his family when a child of six years old. The Eldorado area has been his home for the remainder of his life with the exception of periods of leave due to his work which was in construction.
Survivors include: one son, Mark Rumbo of Hutchinson, KS; one daughter, Marsha Weathers of Altus, OK; two brothers, Bobby Ray Rumbo of Arlington, TX and Marvin Cozelle Rumbo of Alexandria, LA; one sister, Peggy Rumbo of Lubbock, TX; nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his Father, Jack Rumbo in 1971; his Mother, Alvis Ruth Brownlow
