Obituary for Rosa Edna Hestand
Former Olustee resident Rosa Hestand, age 92, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, November 16, 1997 in the Shawnee Regional Hospital. She was born September 28, 1905 in Duke, Oklahoma to the late Artemis and Sarah (Wilkes) Warren. She married Charlie T. Hestand September 28, 1932 and he preceded her in death June 29, 1991. Rosa was a life long resident of Olustee and Jackson County and a long time and very active member of the Olustee First Baptist Church. Funeral services is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 1997 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Olustee with Rev. C.W. Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Rosa Hestand, to the Building Fund at the First Baptist Church of Olustee.

Survivors include children; Norma Jean Smith of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandchildren ; Cindy Denise Worrell of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Jacque Jean Warden of Stillwater; great grandchildren; Tammy Diane Ruud of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Dustin warden of Houston, Texas Charles Thomas Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Nicholas Johnson,of Ardmore, Oklahoma; great-great gramdcjho;d Travis Scott Rudd of Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Prededed in death by her parents, husband Charlie Hestand 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
