Ronald Cleon Dailey, age 58, of Mangum, passed away, at his home, early Friday morning, February 19, 2010.

Ron was born on January 20, 1952, in Denison, Texas to Willie Cleon and Ruth Juanita Martin. At a young age, Ron moved, with his family, to Granite where he attended school. In 1971, he joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country. On November 8, 1996, he married Marsha Hennings in Mangum. Fishing, watching NASCAR and watching the Dallas Cowboys were some of his favorite pastimes.

Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Willie Dailey and James Dailey, he is survived by his wife, Marsha; three children, Misty Smith of Mangum, Bob Heinze of Arkansas and Shawn Smith of Kansas; several grandchildren; one sister, Sandy Travis and husband Paul of Mangum; two brothers, Jerry Dailey and Gerry Dailey and wife Vickie of Mangum along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Ron Dailey will be at 2 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2010, at Rose Assembly Church with Pastor Gary Usher officiating. Interment will follow at Granite City Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
