Obituary for Robert Larry Brock
Robert Brock, age 85, peacefully passed away on July 4, 2021. He was a resident at the Magnolia Creek Care Facility in Altus, Oklahoma. Robert was born in Roswell, New Mexico, on June 10, 1936, to parents C.D. and Dolorez Brock. He grew up in areas of New Mexico and Arizona. Robert graduated high school and worked a gas station manager served as a F&I for Ford Motor Company and later was employed by SIC Finance and Loan. Robert transferred in Altus after being promoted to branch manager in 1966. While working for SIC he met Wanda Elliot. 1977, Wanda and Robert were united in marriage in Vernon, Texas. Robert raised and loved two children, Kim Janning and Tim Hagen. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, riding horses, fishing, but must of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; C.D. and Dolorez Brock; one daughter: Robin Jackson; and two grandchildren: Zach Jackson and Blake Hagen. Family members surviving Robert are his wife of forty three years, Wanda Jo Brock; daughter, Kim Janning; stepson, Tim Hagen; grandchildren, Lina Ruiz (Frank); Jenna Janning; and Amanda Jackson; great-grand-children: Sophia Ruiz and Frank Ruiz, Jr.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Restlawn Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma.
