Robert Holley age 70, of Altus died at Memorial Hospital in Altus, June 11, 1966. He was born December 5, 1895 in Springtown, Texas to Ernest and Sytha (Garett) Holley. He married Susie and they had been a resident of Jackson county for the last 62 years. Robert served in World War 1 and was a member of the American Legion.
Funeral services for Robert Holley are scheduled for June 13, 1966 at 2:00pm in the Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Hoyt Lemon. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Robert Holley is survived by his wife, Susie of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Arvice Dolan, Fayetteville, Arkansas; Mrs. Minnie Chaney, Louisiana; Dora Cardwell, Ft. Worth, Texas; Lira Jones, Bakersfield, California; Winnie Roberts, Duncan, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, one step-son, Mrs. Bill Hubert, Anchorage, Alaska; Mrs. James Bates, Warden, Washington; Bill Potter, Prescott Arizona; eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
