Obituary for Robert Anderson Rooker
Funeral services for Robert Anderson "Bob" Rooker are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 27, 1998 at the Warren Cemetery. Ardron Hinton will officiate. Mr. Rooker passed away Saturday, April 25th, 1998 at the Christian Home in Cordell. Mr. Rooker was born September 27th, 1911 in Bridgeport, Texas to Randolph and Anna Mae (Clarke) Rooker. On January 10, 1936 he married Virgie Marshall. Mr. Rooker had worked for the North American Cotton Compress and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Rooker was 86 at the time of his death.

Survivors include: his wife, Virgie Rooker of Denton, TX; two daughters, Paige Rooker of Lake Dallas, TX and Julie Klie and husband Douglas of Bela Vista, AR; two grandsons, Hunter Klie and Sean Shallenberger and his wife Sarah; one brother, Charles Rooker and his wife Naomi of Duncan, OK; and a host of nieces and nephews to include Kathy Crenshaw and Charla Friday.
