Funeral services for Robert Albert Porter, age 98, of Mountain Park, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., November 30, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Mountain Park Cemetery. Rev. Dave Bucher will officiate.
Mr. Porter died Saturday, November 28th, 1992 at the local hospital. Mr. Porter was born April 23rd, 1894 in Grayson County, TX to John F. and Margaret Porter. He was a long time farmer in the Mountain Park area as well as a veteran of WWI and a member of the Quaker Church. Lowell Tims Funeral Home in Altus is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include: three children, Ruth Simms of Altus, Oklahoma, Lottie Fagg of Snyder, Oklahoma and Roy Porter of Plainview, TX; a brother, George Porter of OKC; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Minnie Mayme Porter, November 9, 1982; his parents; one son, Robert Henry Porter.
