KING
Robby Len King, 54, of Willow, Oklahoma went to be with his Maker after losing his battle to cancer on Sunday morning October 14, 2012 at his mother"s residence in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Rob was born in Cyril, Oklahoma on November 22, 1957 to Jimmy and Sue (Fielder) King. He grew up in Oklahoma and attended Altus High School. While attending Altus High School, Rob enjoyed spending time with friends and playing football and basketball. After graduating from high school, Rob began his career with his father and brothers in the grey hound industry. On April 7, 2001, Rob married Ester Rosalez, in Mangum. When Rob wasn"t working he loved to cruise his Harley Davidson motorcycle and would take long trips. It wasn"t until after the grey hound business that Rob discovered his passion for life and began to help others recover from substance abuse by working as a Substance Abuse Counselor at New Hope Chemical Dependency Unit. Rob truly and genuinely loved helping and caring for others in any way that he possibly could.
Rob is survived by his wife Ester King of Willow; three step sons, Carlos Rosalez of Carter, Santos Montalbo of Mangum and Samson Montalbo of Willow; two daughters, Shae Leggett of Yukon and Summer King of Mangum; three grandsons, Chance Leggett of Yukon, Dylan Ryburn of Yukon and Johnny Rosalez of Mangum; his mother, Sue Graves and husband Randy of Oklahoma City; his father, Jimmy King of Arkansas; two brothers, Steve King and wife Patti of Iowa and James King and wife Inez of Bethany along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
Rob will greatly be missed by his family and friends but we all rejoice that he is resting in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Memorial services for Rob King will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, at the Mangum United Pentecostal Church with Pastor David Weber and Arthur Benson officiating. Inurnment will follow at 3:45 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, at the Port Cemetery, west of Sentinel, in Washita County.
