Raymond Henry McElroy age 64, of Altus, died June 22, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. Raymond was born March 4, 1903 in Olustee, Oklahoma to Lee Melton and Mary Bell (Lane) McElroy. He married Lola Jewel Hixon May 29, 1928 in Hollis, Oklahoma. Raymond lived in California from 1939 thru 1963 he remained in Jackson after 1963.
Services for Raymond Henry McElory are scheduled for Sunday, June 25, 1967 at 2:30 pm. in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Everett Smalts. Burial will follow in the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Raymond Henry McElroy is survived by his wife, Lola, of the home; one son, Billyy Leon, La Punente, California; one daughter, Wanda Joyce Bumpees, La Punente, California; six grandchildren, three brothers, Claude McElroy, Duke, Oklahoma; Verble McElroy, Duke, Oklahoma; Johnny McElroy, Compton, California; mother, Mary Bell McElroy, Duke, Oklahoma.
