Rayford Douglas Hale age 55, of Altus, Oklahoma died December 1, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. He was born January 16, 1912 in Stevensville, Texas to Luther E. and Sally (Cox) Hale. He served during World War II. He had lived in southwest Oklahoma off and on for the past 40 years.
Services for Rayford Douglas Hale are scheduled for 10:00am Monday, December 4, 1976 in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the American Legion section, Altus, Oklahoma, under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Rayford Douglas Hale is survived by three sons, Ray Hale, New York City, New York; Eldon Hale, Alamargo, New Mexico; Clay Hale Farmington, New Mexico; one daughter, Mrs. Ann Hamitt, Texaco, New Mexico; one brother, Luther Noel Hale, Yuma, Arizona; two sister, Mrs. Romo Rury, Clovis, New Mexico; Mrs. Wilma Hankins.
