Funeral service for Randy Curtis McKee, 54, Hobart, Oklahoma will be at Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Heath Tucker officiating. Burial will be at the Chattanooga Cemetery, Chattanooga, Oklahoma. Visitation will be at the funeral home between 6-8 PM on Monday, November 30, 2015.
Mr. McKee passed away at his house with his family by his side on Saturday.
Randy Curtis McKee was born to Burton and Odie (Rivers) McKee in Wichita, Kansas on June 16, 1961. Randy graduated High School from Gould High School in 1979 and went on to receive his Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree while attending Western Oklahoma State College and Southwestern State University. He married Roi Leigh Rush on March 15, 1988 and had two children before her passing in March 8, 2000. He later married Betty Hines in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma on July 18, 2008, and they made their home in Hobart, OK. Randy was a member of the Oklahoma Coaches Association, WOSC FCA, Baseball Coaches Association, Oklahoma Softball Coaches Association, an FCA Leader, AWANAS Leader, Sunday School Teacher and a member of First Baptist Church of Sentinel, OK. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, running, baseball, college football, Christian Concerts and his grandchildren. He also helped many others raise money for their medical expenses.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, parents, and sisters-in-law, Rhonda McKee and Shawna Rush.
Survivors include his wife Betty of the home; 4 children, Randi Lenn and husband Heath Tucker of Skiatook, OK, Taylor Blake McKee of Lubbock, TX, Christel and husband Will Funkhouser of Hobart, and Kendra Hines and husband Javier Ortega of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Jacy, Ethan, Ledger, Evan, Ali, Kate, Gemma, and one on the way; two brothers, Ronnie McKee of Blair and Danny McKee and wife Edwina of Broken Arrow and many other relatives and friends.
