Jimmy Caster


Jimmy caster died May 5, 1991 from injuries resulting in an automobile accident. Jimmy was born April 7, 1948 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was an Altus High School graduate, graduating in 1966. He was an All-State Quaterback for the Bulldogs and a class favorite. He was a player and coach for Cameron University in Lawton. He had also coached at Chickasha, Lawton and Moore High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus and a member of the Jackson County Hall of Fame.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday May 8, 1991 at he Lowell-Tims Chapel officiating will be the Rev. Glenn Burkhalter. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery.

Jimmy had worked for General Dynamics in Fort Worth over 11 years as a general Supervisor.

Mr. Caster is survived by his father James H. Caster of Altus, Oklahoma; mother Fran Roch of Mangum, Oklahoma; daughter, Michelle Jacob of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mandy Caster of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brandon Caster of Fort Worth, Texas; Derrick Caster of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandmother, Jewel Castle of Altus, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
