Ramus Hicks Jr., 52, resident of Altus, Oklahoma passed away February 3, 2022 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Altus, Oklahoma.
Ramus was born in Clinton. Oklahoma on August 14, 1969 to his parents, Ramus Hicks Sr. and Donna Sue Hicks. He grew up in the Watonga, OK and Russell, OK areas. He completed high school and joined the workforce. Most recently, he was employed by Walmart, to whom he devoted two years of service.
Ramus was extremely easy-going and friendly. He loved music, playing the guitar, and taking care of his beloved pet dog, "Little Man". Ramus had a true passion for art. He could draw and paint and used his art as a personal form of expression. It was through this medium that Ramus found his purpose. His vivid imagination and wide range of thought were showcased in all of his creations. He brought joy, peace and love through his works. Ramus was able to inspire many by sharing his talents and unique gifts. His presence will be never be forgotten by anyone who knew him.
Ramus was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Remaining to mourn his loss are his parents, Ramus Hicks Sr, and Donna Sue Hicks and John Hachenberg; as well as other relatives, neighbors and friends.
Memorial Services have been scheduled at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. It is under the direction of Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
